Teach on your time.
Practice Desk is beginning to build a network of professional musicians who want to share their expertise without the scheduling demands of regular live lessons.
Thoughtful feedback, without another diary commitment.
Students submit a recording and some context about what they are working on. You review their playing when it suits you and provide considered feedback and practical direction.
There is no requirement to take on regular pupils or reserve a recurring teaching slot. The asynchronous format also lets you replay passages, listen carefully and respond without the technical and sound constraints of a live video call.
You stay in control.
Review submissions when it suits you. Choose how many reviews you want to accept and complete them around your own schedule.
Offer feedback in the areas that suit your experience, instrument and teaching interests.
Take individual reviews without committing to a weekly teaching diary.
Practice Desk provides the customer-facing platform and takes a small commission on completed reviews.
Help shape Practice Desk.
Practice Desk is currently in its early stages. If you are a professional performer or teacher interested in offering asynchronous reviews as the platform grows, I’d love to hear from you.
There is no commitment at this stage — this is simply a way to register your interest and start a conversation.
